Par Bande Achhe Hai !!!

I seriously feel that advertisements are the most creative type of media !

30 seconds or 60 seconds and you reach to people's mind !!

Crisp- Smart-Witty - yet stick to the product/service and yeah!!! You 'buy' a consumer !!

I remember watching The Ad Made Show on some channel while I was studying and also in my engineering days I took Marketing as an optional subject - just to know the Branding and Advertising world which fascinates me a lot!

Be it be the 'Taste of India' or that iconic "cricket match- victory dance" Cadbury advertisement or that 'Dar k aage Jeet hai" concept or that thematic song played on Piano in Titan Ad -every advertisement has its own impact !!

The Creative mind rules the consumer mind- knows it very well and create a space inside it !!

The tagline - brand logo-the title track - a theme music- sometimes just a word like 'Aha!!!' in Pepsi ad ...becomes synonyme to the brands/products !!

Sometimes a brand like Amul creates its own mark with print ads touching current topics in a utterly-butterly way!!

There are n-numbers of good advertisements which have made me smile but havnt got a chance to penned down them all...

Just thought of starting it with this new advertisement of ICICI...

Had this blog been written 8-9 days back , I would have written something different like -hope to have such a caring person in my life or this is how a life partner should be or whatever !!

But now, things have changed and yes ! after getting that 'right' person , today I can very well relate to the advertisement and at every second I smile while watching !!

Yes! people do affect your life , they come , they stay and they make their own space in your life and sometimes they just become inseparable part of your life!!

They make a lot of difference in your life , no matter they say "I care for you" in words or not , their unconditional care encapsulates your life.

At the end of the advertisement they say " Jo Zimmedari Nibhate hai wo jatate nai " - Which is true...but it's an added smile-spreading thing that you come to know about how that person cares for you!!

You feel blessed being loved and cared and at the same time the other person feels great too "when they know- that you know"!!

I treasure people and I value them ..so that is little unlike to the wives shown in the ad , but still the advertisement really makes me smile :)

Yes!! a lotttt to write...a lott to share..and say...and sometimes I don't get a proper blog post for each of my thoughts..so here I go.. accumulating the happenings in my life!!

  • While I am writing this...I am no more having the 'single' status and yes!! I am happily 'Engaged' to the most caring and loving person !! feels great!! and top of the world !! ( A 'public' confession time ;) :) )
  • The last whole month went in a blink giving me memories for life time and ofcorse a new family for life time..It is the most awesome feeling when people accept you as in 'YOU' and shower their unconditional love all time.
  • Many friends are curious about how & when I said 'Yes' to him --> for them a new blog post -having the story is 'coming soon' !! But yes! it is the 'lovely' arranged marriage story, where the best and super duper great part is our parents are happy and infect more enthu :)
  • Since the day everything got fixed(exactly before one month)  , I am kind of always happy and smiling and perhaps not finding proper words while writing. but it's okay!...you people can imagine me with 1000W ear-to-ear smile :)
  • Yes, there are major changes in personal life and so for a time being my professional life is on hold -it seems! Never mind ! I am happy I just completed 3 years in this job ..and The Sun God has been blessing me since then !
  • This job has made me more aware of the professional world , I have learnt a lot and m happy to be part of this Solar industry ! :)
  • There are so many things on which I want to write and I will , and at least 20 unpublished draft- blog posts  are going to come one by one on the blog !!!
  • I felt sooooo great to hear all the reactions from my friends when I said them the news and which even made me emotional at times - it is so wonderful to have them.
  • I want to meet my friends now , want to party and ofcorse want to visit cousins at Mumbai...I always believe that joy and happiness gets double if you share with right people ..!!
  • A lottts nd lottss of shopping is on way too!!
  • Want to travel some places here in India before I shift to the new time zone!
  • And I am very happy as I am going to meet my foi, didi nd some friends soon !!

  • Visits to my schools  , college and some of the most important people is on the must-do list.
  • At the end, yes!! I am happy !! and saying touchwood ! :)  ( Sometimes you do become superstitious ;) )
Ahh!! so lots of non sequential thoughts ...!!  and just got to know this is my 50th Blog-post !! :)

Is it so tough to be happy??

I dont know what will be your answer to this question. but certainly mine is 'NO' ...it is not at all tough to be happy...happier or the  happiest...!!

I live each day with same feeling that life is a gift and it's our duty/right to be happy and make others happy. (You can see my blog-profile says that too)

I have some faded memories of some of the incidents during my pre-school and school where my teachers used to say my parents that she is a 'happy -go- lucky' child...I have not discussed this with my parents but from their indirect talks related to my childhood I can figure it out that I used to get happy with small small tiny-miny things ...

As I grew older , yes the 'sadness' factor obviously sent me a 'friend request' , which I colud not block it but yes simply started searching means to ignore it.

My father alwayz says that we need to be 'bindaas' in life keeping the positivity alive and some how I started following his words , I started searching happiness in small things around me. Mood swings and Sadness are integral part of life and as a normal human being I have them all.And somehow I alwayz try hard to manage to come back to normal zone ASAP.

There were times when I have felt sheer sadness , specially during that HYD-leaving phase . It was a tough - time and  I stood strong with the help of papa (obviously - he never ever can see me weak and I never ever can prove his wish wrong ,mutual you know ;) ) , didi -bhaiya (My rakhi-siblings whom I met at Hyderabad and they gradually became part of life/family ) , my cousins(all those lil kiddos -u r the lifelines:) )  and my all friends (from school , college , satyam , V6)!!

These people are source of smile or can say my smile-o-trigger ...and because of them most of the other people found me cool-calm and smiling.

Sometimes people ask me , 'we cant imagine that you can be sad anytime.' To which I reply that it is good that you think like that but that does not mean at all that I am emotion-less , I have my own mood zones just like a normal human being , sometimes you can predict that from my face aswell but yes at the same time the fact remains as it is that I hate being sad and I hate myself if I am not able to remove sadness easily.

If the person asking the above question is younger than me then I never forget to give gyaan like
'If we think then we can easily find means which make us happy or which pull us from the sad- zone..be it be music , reading , writing , sleeping , travelling , painting, cooking or simply talking to friends/siblings/other family members whose aura can affect us positively.

There is no thumb rule or perfect guidelines to be followed to reach the destination -Happy mind state..but yes, one has to work hard to reach there by following own instincts ..by knowing the 'self' beyond what is written in one's resume/bio data. '

I dont think you need any Gurus-Babas-Ammas who can switch on the 'Dimag ki batti' for you to be happy ...It's just 'you' who has to find ways for yourself ....Do good...Be good..and think good...and leave rest on mother nature ...

On the ending note would like to thank all my closed ones , you have given me reasons to smile ..I hope that continues life long ...as I hate being sad..and I know you also hate it if m sad ;) :)

Sometimes I wonder what hurts the most...!!  Truth or Lie or both ...

For 03 EE- my gang :)

11.10.2003 to 11.10.2011

I know that  dates are mere numbers and numbers are meant to be reside in statistics/History books ...but as some dates/numbers behave as memory trigger and they take you to the phases of life..where you have achieved something.

11.10.2003 was the day , where destiny wrote pre-fix 'Er.'  to our names and from 12th pass student we all became engineering students..to be precise Electrical Engg students ..

The day which became witness of our transition from school to college life...

The day we all met and became friends/best friends or let's say at least class mates ...

it has been 8 years still memory is still fresh ...that C block Audi and speech filled with motivating words from professors and seniors ...then C Block class room where general intro begun...that cricket match , songs , debate , acting ...etc etc.....
then we were taken on campus-tour and perhaps we realized that we were in the college which has the best infrastructure...

Canteen and workshop and that NIM ...we saw them all...

and then going to Nirma and doing masti with fun became normal routine until April 2007 ...

enormous memories.....mostly sweet and some bitter .....uncounted laughter moments and rare teary zones .....class room study to canteen assignment copying.. .ice-gola party to cutting tea in raining season ....dumbcharads  times to hectic scheduling during Vidhyut Adbhutam ....Mid-sem to class tests ....SLP time to study-tour times ....birthday parties to bakra-parties ....
we have enjoyed all....

Unlike other colleges where engineering means only fun...we at Nirma studied well as well as did almost same amount of fun like others...and icing on the cake was the campus-placements... :) So who-so-ever had little doubt about doing lesser fun and more study ...had a bigg ear to ear smile after the offer letters from the prestigious companies... ;)

Never the less I am proud to be associated with the college and also very happy to know all of you in EE department ...

Thank you for being there and making my college life most wonderful...

A day in Ye hai Mumbai meri jaan !!

Before visiting and living some of the most memorable years at Hyderabad ,Mumbai alwayz used to top on my list of favorite cities. Never the less , as far as memories are concern both the cities top the list. :)

Sometimes you dont write much about the obvious happenings in your life , and for the same reason I have never written about Mumbai and my memories ever before on the blog - as It is the routine to visit Mumbai during vacations/Holidays/Rakhi    and do so much fun since my childhood days..

I have some very mesmerizing- mastikhor- memories at Mumbai...since my childhood. Mumbai has alwayz taught me many things which usually were unknown to me as being from a silent-not so happening city..

At every stage from kid zone to teen-age zone to now , I have alwayz spent quality time at this city , as my cousins alwayz make my stay at aamchi Mumbai superb with lot many plans and outings and chit-chats. (Ofcorse, fights - some sweet one some serious one used to be there for obvious reasons like TV and blah blah in Kid-Zone days ;) :P )

My recent visit during Rakshabandhan to Mumbai had its own charm as we (Me, My two kid-cousins and my rakhi-brother(Big B)) spent lovely time roaming around in the city and that trigger me a thought of writing this post.

The day started with lots of planning and opinions from everyone about where to go and what to do , and since it was a holiday we all were in the lazy-let's sit at home and sleep zone ..and added to that Big B came late becoz of the famous Mumbai-Traffic which forced more to our declined inclination to go out. But then power of Pizza/Pasta dominated our mind and finally we four stepped out of the home in the Mumbai's humid sun-shine after completing rituals of Rakshabandhan.

The lunch at the 'Red-Box' became memorable as we played one 'ask-a-secret' kinda teen-age special game (as one of my cousin is a teenager and she is the youngest and bubbliest among all of us) , which usually is famous among friends rather than siblings ;) But we are different ...we all are friends cum siblings !! :)

After the tip-top lunch and lot many laughter riots becoz of the game , we decided to go to very famous place called Pedar-Road - which draws a line between Mumbai's fast life and the steady- royal sea. The area is a nice-hang-out place if the sun is not being so harsh on you that day. We were not lucky in that case and so we thought of going to Barista.
Now, there again the fun-game begun , both the brothers were mind-blowing in answering /questioning while me and my kid-sister were all the way giggling and laughing. And there again the serious discussion begun about which  movie to see and if not movie then what next?

Considering the fact that we all four have different movie-choices , we finally thought to go on long-drive on the Bandra-Worli sea-link.
Awesome technology marvel , beautiful sea , drizzling mausam and non-stop antakshari with siblings made the sea-link journey more wonderful.

And then suddenly we all went in to silent mode , the moment we reached to Marine Drive - for the obvious reason sunset and the sea. It's a life time experience to bid adieu to the sun , sitting on the edge of the road, staring at the sea and dot-like ship at the distance , forgetting the noisy traffic behind you , avoiding the sky-scrappers and people.

You find the meaning of spirituality and serenity at moments like these. All four of us were quiet in our own ways - younger sis was writing poetry in her mobile , younger brother was staring at the sea and was clicking some pic of the sun-set , Big B was also staring the sea ..and I was enjoying the lovely nature and was thanking the God silently for giving me such a wonderful people along with the present called Life.

Then our silence broke with the noise of Bhutta-walas and Chai-walas , and we all again started singing songs with Bhutta in our hands like school going kids ;)  Trust me it's alwayz fun to be kids again .. :)

Our return journey started with screaming mad songs like 'Senorittaa' (from ZNMB) and 'Dhinka Chika' ..
the whole day was spent in masti and masti and more masti ... :)

We reached home with lot many memories and smiles on our faces.

I found that no matter how often you talk with each other , how tough you fight on a silly issue with each other , how you realize the total opposite nature of all , the caring factor plays the lead role in relations of siblings.  They make you smile , they make you feel proud and they feel proud , they pull your leg and fights with other if they try to do the same with you ...siblings -strange yet lovely people :)

On a ending note , would say Mumbai still rocks in its own way in my life...and will write more about my bondng with the lovely city soon...till then a bigggggg thanks to all my siblings -younger ones /elder ones for being there all time for me :)

Some Treasured Memories

If you are a Gujju then you must be knowing that 'The Saaf-Safaai of home' time has begun as Navratri is approaching..
Today while re-arranging things in my cupboards as alwayz found lot many treasured memories which push me back into the time ...
I alwayz knew I have kept all such small little memories nicely ..but still I alwayz feel same joy (read sento-zone) as and when I see them ..no matter how many time ...
There were files where I have nicely arranged all my Speeches from school time ...while flipping the pages ; the school...stage..podium ..my badge with 'School Leader' embossed on it...flag march.. everything came into mind ..along with those times where I used to have stage fear (strange!! but true) ...

Then the glorious 4 years of Nirma and enormous preserved memories from printouts of presentations ..some banners and schedules of Vidyut Adbhutam ...news paper articles with photos of our group ...broken multimeters and circuit parts ...
all took me back to those 'D' block ...EE days filled with so much laughter riots :)

I also found some paper cuttings and Business Todays featuring Satyam as Top rank-4 IT company status ...which I have collected after getting placement ....I dint wanted to do that but yes sadly I trash those cuttings today..

Never the less I cant deny the fact that Satyam and Hyderabad have given me memories of life time and which I am never going to forget ....I will cherish each and every moment spent there with people who are so close to me :)

I also found one album in which I have collected all small little memories of Hyderabad ...and I am not going to describe in words that how I felt ....
=============

In all the day was tiring but yet brought all those preserved memories alive in mind ...with smile on face and emotions in eyes ....

Chalo c u all ... lot many things to put at right place..before I get scolding from mummy ;)

Curious souls ..!!

Hmmm let me ask you (not curiously :P ) , how curious are you about the happenings around you ? or How curious are you about what's going on in people's life? or let me put it other way , Which kind of curious are you??

Confused !! ???

Today while coming to office I was thinking about the word curiosity and I became equally curious to analyse various kind of curious souls based on the 'type' of curiosity and ofcourse 'level' of curiosity..

I am not including science , technology,  gadgets , artists -curious souls here as they are genius and infect I am thankful to these kind of souls as because of them only the era is at its best..

let me take you on some thought -ride ,

1) Well wisher curious

They are the people who really wish good for others and they become curious about others life just to check if they can help them in any ways. They usually motivate others and console people in their not so good times.
Their 'level' of curiosity is average and they seriously know the difference between to be concerned  and doing interference.

Usually they are your best friends or family members or sometimes a stranger too!!

If you have people like that around you..then you are blessed and If you are among them then also you are blessed.

2) Information Banks and Mini-Bonds

They just want to keep all information about all people around them , if they know them or not ...
That includes movie stars and cricketers ..politicians ...all..
These kinda people feel happy that they 'know' everything , they dont interfere and keep all info withing themselves.
And yes , not to forget , if you ask them for some help , they will surely do.

Usually they are in high demands when college exams are near as they surely know professor-reading xyz book-so paper- must be from it , also in office when increments/promotions files are moving.

These 'khufiya' mini bonds are sometimes blessings too ;)

3) Gossiping Greats

Ahh!!! They are curious about others life just to gossip ..they are the moving 'page 3' ..
They feel they are famous in their group. Be it your college campus or office canteen , they are there to keep 'watch' on you ...and their mind-radar is ON alwayz ..

They know who-went-with -whom or from-where-s/he buys stuff or openings in the company and who has applied...etc.
They see the smoke without fire and then never leave any efforts to be a match-stick !!

They sometimes irritate you but most of the time with their non-harmful , fun filled gossips entertain you.( Provided you are not the target ;) )

4)The Negative mirror

When you start conversation with them , they jump with the same question in order to 'know' something from you 'about you' ..They ask indirectly and hit hard directly on the not-so-happening area of your life. They are neither interested in helping nor they do it for gaining information. Knowingly or unknowingly they are their to show you tough side your life or can say reminding you about the pending issues. you can call them sadist or whatever.
But they are the negative aura around you and they pop-up like the chat window and push you into thinking zone.
You will find them most when you are waiting for result of exams , while dealing with your unexpected mark sheets , while waiting for interview call from your dream company or offer letter , or after being rejected from the company interview , while you are not sure about your relationships (but they surely wanna know) , or while you are on the arrange marriage drive , while you are married (you know for what they ask) , and after being parent - from your child's school to marriage again the whole round of Mirror image questions..!!

Soo...Which kinda curious are you?? and Do you agree to what I said above?? :)

Blogging k Side Effects ;)

Do you blog???If yes then you can very well connect to my thoughts...
and Still you dont agree to it...means that you are the strongest soul on the earth :)...

I have been blogging since 2007 , after joining Satyam and being part of the blog-o-sphere there , I understood how your thoughts - which were in your mind (in my case also in my personal diaries)can reach to people with this IT enabled mean.

Though I am proud of my blog..my blog-name and blog- friends I have earned through this journey, there are certain side effects of this hobby-blogging too...

  • Previously certain strong rebellious thoughts used to stay in my diary pages and used to RIP with time , now as I blog them (some of them not all ;) ) sometimes it's a I-am- taking -punga-with you - situation occurs.
  • I mentioned 'some of them not all' in previous side effect as , no one is going to read your diary and your hate-list or angry-list in it ..but if you put them on your blog...Wohhoo!!! you are going to be famous ;) (you know what I mean)
  • When you are in a bad mood and you blog , trust me your well-wishers will get worried reading it after months also and will ask you about it , and some curious minds will follow you to know the exact story of what happened.
  • Many a time it happens that you want to blog about 'experiences' you had with your friends , relatives, colleagues  but as they 'follow' you and of course you like it as well and matter of fact apart from that experience you like them also - you can not blog it - or you can not publish the post- and it resides in the Draft folder for eternity.
  • There some enthusiastic people who will come and read your blog and then point outs silly spelling mistakes and 'Angreji' problems and forgets about the main motto behind the post - thoughts and also forgets that the URL is just yours - and its your kingdom ( though you owe this to FREE space provided by blogspot - so what? ...kingdom is kingdom )
  • And see the side effects of blogging in above point - I have to write ;enthusiastic people' and not their names- ya ya...agreed I am not the strongest soul baba....
  • Instead of enjoying or hating some incidents , your blogger mind alwayz starts formulating sentences and paragraphs about the event, thinking about how you can convert this incident into the blog-post..I mean that's a good habit but people around you may feel shocked seeing you day- dreaming and may tag you as 'pagal'. ..and if so generous then 'Dhooni' (not Dhoni..see extra O :P )
  • I have observed people writing numbers of PS after their post - just to avoid some furious discussions- sometimes the PS says more than the actual blog-post.
Now its my turn PS: this blog post is for fun and please forgive me if at all you find some of the points are re-directing to you..please dont 'un-follow' me on blog - please please.... ;) :) :-D

The Uncommon Common man

He is a common man - who feels bad if India looses , he cries when there are terror attacks , he jumps and smiles with tears when his dream got fulfilled ..then what makes him extra ordinary ???

He is among those rare species who never complains about his work/job.

The brave person who has given his soul to his work- and his work is to make 1.2 bn people smile and proud , his work is to shake the sleeping Indian inside those who have forgotten the fact that not only 15th August or 26th January but everyday should be equally important and fulfilled with pride if you are part of world's largest democracy... A big work ..isn't  it??
But he does it with lot of passion and patience. He has been doing this for last 21 years with same courage and happiness on his face without complaining.

People keep discussing about him .. arguing about his abilities ..but he never fought back...he just kept quiet and gave the answer with his performance.

He has never given any quotations instead people have written enormous things about him but still he has not taken those complements into his head.

He has that immense aura which mesmerizes his  colleagues who work so hard to  fulfill his dream , to make him smile.

People across the globe pray for him as he walks out to do his job and celebrates when he gets success.

No matter  what ups and downs he faced , he conquered all odds and came out with glory all the time..
Who  says life is not like a fairy tale ?? It IS for some people. and if we think deep ..it MUST be for them as they deserve that life.

I wish him all the best for his fantastical life ahead.

What should I say about them .....just God bless them

What your mind thinks at these situations if you were at my place.. ?

Some of the instances where I couldnt even laugh... where I went blank seriously .....and could think of just 3 words...God Bless Them ...!!!!!

Would like to share some of the random incidents ...

How do you react when you find a Yoga teacher with plate full of pickles and heap of spicy subjis and at the same time telling you the advantages of having Popaya juice twice a day???"

How do you react when you find a lady joining "Mahila-Mukti Morcha" kind of organization just to get 'mukti' from household things including taking care of elders and children??

How do you react when a person talks a lot about freedom for girls and the same time snatch away daughter's mobile as some guy messaged her???

Another mind blowing experience I had when I came to know that one of our colleagues is not working at all just because he thinks that Government should pay him 1 Cr or some odd good money then and then only he will work...he comes to office on time...he lefts the office on time..but the whole day he just stares the computer screen...sings some salmaan numbers...writes too many internal notices with all computer lingo and total brand new English which no Oxford Dictionary can de-code..and when questioned about "What have you written?" ..answers "Give a back space!!"..........................now dont stare at my blog..he seriosly answered like that...
Ohhh God..... I couldnt even laugh at that answer..............!!!!!

I have done little bit good (Thats what people say) anchoring in my career and at least I am fortunate that I have attended some of the functions with top class anchors or Master of Ceremony ...and so I felt awestruck when a newbie self proclaimed anchor (!!) with total wrong Gujarati (And also having proud of it...."Ahhh!! Dont you know I am from Convent?" kinda attitude) rudely commented for somebody in the elderly audience ....and then suddenly started discussing taste of the idli-chuttney they served and thickness of the sambhaar ...ohhhh God...please tell that person that its a stage not a kitchen....!!!

Now what happens when you see a live demo of "Angoor to khatte hai!!" story ...
Proud parents of a child with highly low marks, instead of accepting the fact that marks are not everything in life and motivating him/her to progress in a field s/he is interested in forcefully admits him/her in some ordinary engineering college just for the sack of getting the title 'Engineer' and above all criticizes ...highly criticizes the top class college of the State and thanking God in front of people(who are passed of that) for not getting admission in to it ...
Wow!!! I just whispered God bless them !!
Complex situation but hope you got it what am trying to convey ....

Now when you are 'eligible' single and have given the tough task to your parents you come across so many wonderful people with wonderful questions.... thankfully my dad filters them before they come to me ..but one of the incidents I want to quote , a gentle lady called up my papa and after asking merely one or two things about my education and work suddenly shot a question on phone- "How good looking she is? as my son wants just good-looking wify" ....
My witty dad answered " Ohh for all fathers their daughters are Aishwarya Rais and Priyanka Chopras only ma'am" ....

I couldn't believe my ears when my father narrate this incident to me ....and there again i told...God bless them ...!!!

Now I agree that with highly advancement in technology one must think globally and have modern outlook towards life but somehow I became speechless when on a good social gathering where people of mixed age groups were present and 30% were above 75 years -suddenly the singer announced that on a request of 'the' organizer they are performing the next song....and to my great surprise the song was "Shiela ki Jawani" ...!!!! Ohh God....I was freeze on my seat and couldn't dare to look around where all old people were sitting ...
Ahh!! great song selection indeed ............uffff!!!!!

Hmmm....I am not able to re call some other 'God bless them' incidents ....so ending it here ...do tell me if you find better reactions for the situations I faced /observed ...

On the ending note I would seriously want to thank all these people for giving me the distance learning opportunity of 'Behavioral science' ....and also raising my tolerance level so only today I am able to laugh it off at all such situations.... ;) :D

Summary of some memories :)

As the decade is ending I thought to rewind some of the most memorable moments along with some ups and downs of the journey ...The decade is the most precious one as in this decade I have grown up from a school girl to a professional working in a field of renewable energy ..

Each and every year had a story to tell ...

2001 :

:-)

My 10th standard result - scored 94% , awarded as the 'best student of the school' , worked as the 'School pupil leader' of Mount Carmel , enjoyed the last year at school

:- (

The earthquake at Gujarat which highly affected our mind states as papa was posted at Bhuj the very next day , apart from that the battle for the school hunt and tuitions hunt started as Mount Carmel did not have 11 and 12th standard

2002:

:-)

Nice time and learning at the new school "St.Xavier's " , made new friends , took part in various competitions , new vehicle and rakhadam patti on Gandhinagar roads started, Bijal and I became the bestest of friends.

:-(

Exam pressures , my all generals and books got stolen in school & thus taste the first adverse effect of being a leader and the anchor , some of the school time best friendships took shape of hi-hello friendships.

2003:

:-)

Got the 12 th standard results and got admission into my dream college since 1998 -Nirma ('Wow!!- Moment' of my life) and the fantastic 4 year journey begun, a new era of friendship started with lot many people. the 03 EE saga begun ..

:-(

after the 12th standard results a lot of waiting period for admissions and each day came with new uncertainties .

2004:

:-)

New class ,new people , competitions at college , workshops and Electrical labs , lots of assignments- the real feel of engineering started , got my first mobile Nokia 2300 and the SMS talks started , the college trip was amazing and gave a group of life time.

:-(

Not remembering any sad moments..

2005:

:-)

Some of the nice technical presentations at various colleges -the journey of MAGLEV really helped (sudipto thanks to you for that ), got new friends for life during this phase , went to IIT mumbai and understood why it’s called IIT - a superb place to study for sure , enjoyed the Goa trip in the Christmas time, ’Vidhyyut Adbhutam’ gave a memorable experience of organizing the national level tech-fest.

:-(

Not as such sad moments but yes some of the little fights with friends really made me sad at those particular moments..but then eventually with time all izz well..

2006:

:-)

The Wow!-moment-2 came with SATYAM campus recruitment , had some wonderful days at Hi-REL power electronics during our final year industrial training and project and got the real feel of being an engineer while making the circuits and PCBs and struggling to get the pure sine way output.

:-(

Struggle for getting industrial training approval and searching the suitable company, the class room study almost ended as project work started , started missing college friends and group , as the placement started

2007:

:-)

Got my degree and the convocation day was the precious day for my family with all perfecto procession at Nirma , SATYAM joining happened and one of the most beautiful phase of my life started at the city of pearl Hyderabad , got fantastic friends , met the person whom I respect the most –my bestest of friends and elder bro,

And most importantly Blogging started at SATYAM and at blogspot..

:-(

Satyam date of joining got postponed and the batch got divided , the little feeling of going away from home for the first time came in the mind and suddenly realized that the college days are over!!

Also to join or not to join Satyam was the biggest question of that time as I always wanted to be in Electrical field and on the other end Satyam was my first achievement in the campus job..confusions all around!!

2008 :

:-)

THE perfect YEAR , enjoyed every bit of it , new friends , roommates , roaming around in Hyderabad , STC – the royal work place , the perfect set routine in the professional world , my first flight journey happened , new laptop , back account and salary and ATM—Ahh!! Earning while learning IT begun for me ..

Amazing year …can be rated as the MOST happening and happy YEAR of the Decade!!!! J

Also met Siktadidi and like a perfect elder sis she is there and will be there for me as my confidence !!

No sad moments at alllllllllllll

2009:

:-)

V-6 group founded , started thinking about the renewable energy field after coming back to home , motivation from parents and siblings helped me to change my field again back to Electrical.

I understood my mental strength in the bad times.

:- (

Left Hyderabad , the beautiful phase ended abruptly , missing friends di/bhai became routine ,

Struggle for the job change that too in a new field started.

2010:

:- )

Kashmir trip was the amazing part – really loved it , Got the new job in my favorite field Solar energy , ultimate experiences in the new field --along with the technical work radio recording and studio recording made the year fantastic.

:- (

Resigned from home in Satyam and no farewells or adieu mails for me , no friends around in the city.

The year in ending with all positive notes.

The decade was a real superb one and helped me to learn a lot. Met wonderful people and got the memories of life time , bonding with friends got stronger and I pray that with each passing day it grows .

No regrets just a salute to the decade for giving me so much ..

I am surely looking forward to have more wonderful moments in the coming decades for sure ..May the God bless all of us!!

Watch your words!!!

It is said that “If Draupadi (wife of Pandavs) had not spoken anything and If Sita( wife of Lord Ram) had spoken something then the battles of Mahabharat and Ramayan had not been fought”

The meaning is If you understand the epics, then you will come to know that “Andhe ka putra Andha” – statement in a taunt or anger manner by Draupadi to Duryodhan when Kauravs were on their visit to Indraprasth worked as the trigger for the whole Mahabharat battle to prove power and to snatch supremacy.

The same way , If Sita mata had at least said something while the wrong was happening around or can say while “Agni pariksha” was declared for her then the battles had not been fought for rights.

Not digging the history much but just taking some essence from it and coming to my point that ‘Words’ do have power …power in a negative or positive sense based on the words , the situation in which they are used and by whom-- to who --for whom!!

People say anger is a worst enemy but I would rather say the words told in an anger state are the real enemies.

We know some people by their words..as words are the reflection of one’s mind state / thoughts , also ‘how best you can handle your own anger’ also describes the personality you poses , the morals you follow or the spirituality you believe in.

All the time situations are not in your favor, people always not behave the way you want them to be..sometimes the negative aura takes lead role over all your positive fundas .. but still we have to watch what we say and to whom ..

It’s pretty fine to get angry and also if we find that our reason is valid and world must know that then there are plenty of ways to let people understand your thoughts and your mind state. But sometimes the message is conveyed in a wrong manner with lots of things not to be said , and the real matter diverts to the different track.

Lets make it simple …people these days are finding fashions in using ‘shift+number keys’ on their keyboards to express their anger .. but I find it total childish and I really feel horrible when I come across such kind of things , may be I am an old fashion girl with limited vocab and limited expressions to express what I think and feel !!

But , though I don’t believe in imagining first impressions or any impressions , this kind of attitude from many people really force me to correct myself in believing people and their thoughts.

Sometimes harsh words said in anger create a huge impact on the other persons’ mind and even after the apologies or dilute situations then on , the impact created by words can not be easily forgotten , and in the end it also affect the relations slowly.

We de- motivate people sometimes with our words or hurt them , no matter our intension was right or wrong the said words always leave their impressions.

I agree to the fact that life is not smooth for many , but that’s the way it is ..and that’s the way we have to live it and accept it and if one thinks that they can change the situations just by some words filled with anger ..then I would just like to smile at their thoughts !!! Dear , Watch you words , They world may change or not change because of you but surely your attitude and words will speak a lot about your angle towards life.

Value people and watch your words to create your value in their lives.

Hureyyy!!!!

Hureyyy!!!!
Done with my radio recording and just came back to office with lots of great memories and one goodie –bag by 94.3 My FM-‘Jiyo Dil Se’ …
Now this recording will be given to all the 5 radio channels and they will broadcast it during their slots, everyday for almost one year.
Tomorrow I will be getting CD of the same with some music addition.
Now coming to my experience about the whole day..
Hmmm..What to say..I was pretty excited..Reached to the “Bhaskar House” (Divya Bhaskar publications’ office) with my two ma’ams ,where the person who is handling all sales and PR department came to receive us..
When you enter the building , first you see is the Indian map where the entire Divya Bhaskar network was marked. Then we headed towards the 3rd floor at My FM office, as expected the entry was having various posters and tag line ‘Jiyo Dil Se’ was written on walls..in all very nice colorful ambience.
We met the regional head and he explained us about various new things in Radio and how FM is having high impact in today’s world.
Then we were taken on quick tour of the whole radio station and they explained all technical stuff about radio broadcast. We saw the ‘on-air’ room , from where the RJ was doing the Live show. Then we went to the recording studio , where we met the head of that studio.
Woooooooohh!! Then the real show begun , I started recording the poem with that big mike and putting headphone ..

First 2-3 takes were not so good as I think I got li’l conscious and also to talk with all the emotions and that too in front of instruments and not people were li’l strange for me..but with lots of patience the sir over there helped me and then after 5-6 takes was done with my first poem which was on a serious note.
The second poem was on a lighter side , so I managed to do it well soon. It was a really funny situation to hear your own voice after recording is done.
After the recordings , they gave all of us one gift-hamper kinda bag with DVDs and key-chain and most importantly Ganeshji-idol of SidhhiVinayak .
When I am writing this constantly I am smiling…It’s the same feeling which I had when I first time met sachin tendulkar or I got admission into Nirma …
I may sound over-enthu or over –excited in this post ..the
reason may be is that I got this opportunity totally unexpectedly ..
Whatever it is..I am happy…and I am enjoying every moment !!!!
Waiting for tomorrow, when I will be getting my poems with music :D
